PERRINE – Vaughn H. Jr., 67, Benshoff Hill, died Oct. 5, 2009, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 20, 1942, in Richwood, W.Va., son of the late Vaughn H. Sr. and Sylvia Mae (Radcliff) Perrine. Preceded in death by wife, the former Diane E. Walters; and brothers and sisters, Lee and Richard Perrine and Eloise and Thelma Givens. Survived by children, Jennifer Teeter, Richard Perrine and Tracey Thomas, all of Johnstown; and Lori Avramis, Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Lance Cpl. Dallen, and wife, Taryn; Travis Spaugy; and Christina and Sarah Perrine; sister, Janet, married to Charles Beaver, Craigsville, W.Va.; and brothers, Darris, married to the former Yvonne Walker, Craigsville, W.Va.; and Daniel, and wife, Judy, Southpoint, Ohio. Also survived by beloved dog, "Lady." Vaughn was a security guard for Penelec, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, a U.S. Army veteran and loved hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Ray Streets Jr. and the Rev. Philip King, officiating. Interment, Benshoff Hill Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 155 Ritual Team. Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc.
