Mrs. Maria C. Harris, aged 75, widow of the late Sylvester Harris, died Friday at 10:45 a.m. in her home in First avenue, following a long illness.
She leaves her two brothers, John Girt, of Tarentum, George [should be Joseph] Girt, of Springdale, three sisters, Mrs. Martha Gravatt of Cabot, Mrs. Elizabeth Scott and Mrs. William Wehn of Tarentum, three grand daughters and four great grand children.
Funeral services will be held in the home at 3:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. L.W. Lewellen of the Central Presbyterian Church. Interment later in Prospect cemetery.
