Mrs. Lela Ann Shaffer, 72, resident here for the past 13 years, died Monday at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by husband, Carl Shaffer; seven sons, Ora Snapp, Mt. Morris, Mich., Albert Snapp, Saginaw, Michigan, Bill Snapp, Pontiac, Mich., Lee Snapp, Mich., Charles Snapp, Calif., Raymond Shaffer, Waverly, Charles Shaffer, New York City; two daughters, Lila, Saginaw, Mich., and Freda, Mich.; one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. G.W. McMichael in charge. Burial will be in Harlington Cemetery.
