After she passed away in 1957, he married Margaret Howard in Charlevoix County on Feb. 20, 1959, and they lived in Boyne City, Michigan, where they raised their 10 children. He was survived by his wife, Margaret; and their children, Martha, Karen, Raymond, Richard, Bill, Rex, Margaret, David, Marianne, and Laura.
