Mother, Anna Marie Simonsen Bang, b 31 Dec 1840 in Denmark. # 85706807. B Dec 1841 per 1900 census. Anna was the mother of 10 children with 6 still living in 1900.

Carl and Anna were married on 08 May 1868 in Asserballe, Aabenraa-Sonderborg, Denmark.

Residing with his family in Sheep Mountain, Albany, Wyoming in 1930. In 1940, residing as a sole family member and a lodger in Cotterell Township, Dodge, Nebraska. Emory's wife and remaining children were residing in Laramie, Albany, Wyoming in 1940. Both Emery and Jennie declared that they were married.

NOTE: 1920 census, Emery and Jennie: There is a Harold Bang, b ca 1889 in Wyoming, who is identified as a Brother-in-law to Emory (as HOH). Harold was indeed Jennie's brother, and they were both children of Hans Bang, who is not to be mistaken for the Hans Bang who was Emery's brother.

Present on the 1900 US census, Laramie, Albany, Wyoming are Hans Bang, b Sep 1864 in Denmark (imm 1882, widowed, wife b Denmark), and his children Harold Bang, b Jul 1889 in Wyoming; Laura Bang, b Nov 1890 in Wyoming; Ethell Bang, b Feb 1892 in Wyoming; Jenny Bang, b Dec 1892 in Wyoming.

NOTE: 1885 census; Charles and Anna: Pelrina Nelson, who is identified as Mother-in-law, and would thereby be Valdena's maternal grandmother, was residing with the family in 1885. Her stated age was 51 at that time, which does not seem to be correct as this would make her only around age 9 when she had her daughter, Anna. She could have also remarried as christening records for Hans C Bang name his mother as Anne Simonsen.

NOTE: There is a Laura Bang, b ca 1889 in Wyoming who is listed as a lodger in the home of Charles and Anna. Laura was the daughter of Hans C Bang, so Charles and Anna were her grandparents.

Clifford David Phillips and Valdena Jensena Bang were married in December of 1901 in Dodge County, Nebraska
