Donald Gale Phillips of Katie, Ok was born Oct. 12, 1932 in Allen, Ok to Leonard A. & Pearl (Kyle) Phillips and departed this life Oct. 8, 2009 at the age of 76 years.
Mr. Phillips grew up attending school in Walker, Pauls Valley & Elmore City. Mr. Phillips enjoyed the outdoors, loved to weld & build things. In his younger days he loved to hunt & fish.
Mr. Phillips retired from the Kerr McGee Refinery as a pipe fitter.
He was a Deacon of the Katie Missionary Baptist Church.
His hobbies included Dominoes and breakfast at the Badger Den. The highlight of his life was his family and little dog Suger. The most important thing to him was family and faith.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his; 1 Son: Paul Alan Phillips & his wife Kathie of Elmore City, Ok 1 Daughter: Carla Jean Brady & her husband Charles E. Brady II 1 Brother: "Jimmy" James Rolland Phillips of Oklahoma City. 1 Sister: Frances Ann Jones & her husband Ron Jones of Joplin, MO. 1 Son-in-law: Roy Williams 2 Grandchildren: Michelle Thompson & her husband Brent; Charles E. Brady III & his wife Penni 4 Great Grandchildren: Jacob Thompson, Kaitlyn Thompson, Charles Edward Brady IV and Calin Lou Brady.
Mr. Phillips is preceded in death by; Wife: Wilma Jean Phillips; Parents: Leonard & Pearl Phillips 1 Daughter: Linda Gale Williams 1 Brother: Floyd Emerson
