Gresham resident Madeleine Maguire, 82, died Thursday, Oct. 8, with her daughters at her side.
A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at St. Henry Catholic Church, 346 N.W. First St. Burial will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
A full obituary will appear in The Outlook at a later date. Bateman Carroll Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Madeleine died in Gresham, of natural causes with both of her daughters at her side. She was born Dec. 11, 1926, in Paris. She was a retired foreign service officer, having served her adopted country for 22 years with posts in Africa and Europe. Madeleine is survived by her daughters, Patricia and her husband, Jean Dominique Leullier of Rots, France; and Cathleen Jupille and her husband, Tom of Alamo, Calif.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert John Byron, who died in 1964. Later, she married Edward Maguire, who also preceded her in death. Our sincere thanks to all of the special people who allowed her to stay in her home "with the view" for the last few years. It would not have been possible without your support and help. A funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, in St. Henry Catholic Church, Gresham. Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
