Mrs. Mildred Groome Crutchfield, 79, of 2102 Cleburne St. died Sunday at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Groometown United Methodist Church.
A High Point native, she was a member of Irving Park United Methodist Church and taught for many years in the Greensboro city schools.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Joan King of Greensboro; son, William Thomas Crutchfield Jr. of Greensboro; seven grandchildren.
The family will be at Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. today, other times at the residence of her daughter, 204 Meadowbrook Terrace.
