Della had lived in Concordia, KS since 1960, moving from near Miltonvale, KS. She farmed with her husband and later worked as a nurses aid at Sunset Home, St. Ann's Home and Mount Joseph Senior Community until her retirement.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose, all of Concordia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dene in 1962; and her daughter, Anna Marie Henderson in 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Pauline Collins, Concordia, KS; son, Leroy Fortin, Concordia, KS; four brothers, Wilbur Demanett, Plainville, KS; Floyd Demanett, Hutchinson, KS; Francis "Frank"Demanette, Concordia; Donald Dean Demanett, Concordia; five sisters, Mildred Burns, Topeka, KS; Ruth Budd, Lancaster, CA; Dorothy Woelhoff, Clay Center, KS; Margaret Swaim, Clay Center, KS; and Beulah Nobert, Concordia; four grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia. Burial in St. Peters Cemetery, Aurora, KS. An altar society rosary and vigil service at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, Concordia. Memorials may be made to Mount Joseph Senior Community, Concordia.
