Benjamin H. Dally, son-in-law of Mrs. C. A. Hamilton of Clarence, was killed last week when his plane crashed in South America en-route to Africa.
Mr. Dally was serving in the foreign service of T. W. A. and was first assistant to the chief pilot of that line. The crash occurred on a flight to Africa while transporting troops.
In 1936 he was married to Miss Sue Hamilton who survives with one daughter, Judy, 4 years old. They made their home in Virginia.

Funeral services for Capt. Benjamin Dally, Jr., who was killed in a plane crash in South America on Jan. 15, 1943, will be held at 11 o'clock, Wednesday morning, May 12, at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis.
Capt. Dally was the husband of the former Miss Sue Hamilton of Clarence. Mrs. Dally is a sister of Mrs. Paul Miller and Aubrey Hamilton, both of Macon.
Dally who lost his life along with 35 other men in the crash, was pilot of the TWA Army transport plane which crashed off Dutch Guinea. He was a native of Milwaukee, Wis., but spent most of his boyhood in St. Louis.
He attended Kemper Military Academy at Boonville before entering Westminster College and in 1929 started as a cabin boy on a TWA liner and continued flying activities until his death.
He is survived by his wife and a 10-year old daughter, Judy, both of Kansas City; three brothers and a sister, of St. Louis.
The body was shipped from Trinidad National Cemetery near Venezuela, South America. Burial of the 18 Army men who died in the crash will be in one common grave.
