Mrs. Agnes McMinstry [sic McKinstry] Simmons, 67, resident of Pass-a-Grille for several years and active in social life in St. Petersburg, died at her home in Pass-a-Grille Thursday morning at 4 o'clock. She was the wife of James S. Simmons, a retired capitalist and former New York congressman.
McKinstry Simmons, Niagara Falls, a son of the deceased, was at the bedside at the time of death. his wife and daughter arrived in the city Thursday.
Mrs. Simmons was related to Keith Neville, former governor of Nebraska, who also owns a home on the island. Funeral services will be held in Niagara Falls. The J. W. Wilhelm Funeral home is in charge of local arrangements.
