Carrie Myrtle Wimberley was born on September 10, 1900, in Wimberley, Hays County, Texas. Carrie's parents were Andrew Jackson Wimberley and his wife Fanny B. Tanner Wimberley. Her paternal grandparents were Pleasant Wimberley and Amanda Julian Jackson Wimberley.

Although she had her loving parents and seven older siblings to care for her and love her, Carried died at the age of 14 months and was buried in Wimberley Cemetery in November 1901 in an unmarked grave.
