He was Ragnar Relay runner killed by a drunk driver near the corner of Stephanie and Horizon in Henderson, NV at about 4:35 am. He was a member of the Team Wannabes made out of extended relatives.

Jeremy B. Kunz 1976 ~ 2009 Jeremy Bart Kunz, 33, passed away unexpectedly in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 10, 2009 while participating in the Las Vegas Ragnar Relay with his family.He was born on July 12, 1976 in Logan, Utah the son of Monte Bart and Denice (Fraser) Kunz. Jeremy grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming. He served a LDS mission in the Canada Toronto West Mission. On March 20, 1998 he married Melinda Kay Cox in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was currently working for All West Communications as a Software Developer in Kamas, Utah. More than anything, Jeremy loved spending time with his wife and children. He also wholeheartedly enjoyed backpacking, running, photography and anything having to do with computers. He was currently serving as Stake Young Mens' President, and loved working with the youth, especially in the scouting program. He is survived by his wife Melinda and their children, daughter: Brinci Kay, sons: Tobias Bart, Gage Charles, all of Kamas; parents, Bart and Denice Kunz, Smoot, Wyo; sisters: Katie (Nate) Rockwell, Logan; BreAnne (Cameron) Neff, Pocatello, Idaho; Emily Kunz, Morgan; and Chandra (Chris) Parry, Logan. He is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ryan McEntire. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Kamas LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the Smoot, Wyoming Cemetery under the direction of Crandall Funeral Home, Kamas, Utah. For those wishing to contribute to Melinda and her children, fund has been created in Jeremy Kunz's name at any Zion's Bank branch.
