Sergeant Algernon Sidney Greer, who died in Memphis of disease during the units initial deployment in 1862.
(special thanks Dale Schaefer for the following info) Sgt. Greer doesn't even have a plat # stone left. It appears that the magnolia roots have claimed all stones in this area. In the picture I posted his grave would be just in front of the "Unknown Soldier" marker.
