Funeral for Amiee Michelle Myers Fortenberry, 32, of Decatur will be today, Oct. 1´3, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God with Peck Funeral Home directing. Viewing will be one hour prior. Pastor Danny Gibson and Pastor George Sawyer will officiate.
Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fortenberry, who died Saturday Oct. 10, 2009, at Huntsville Hospital, was born Sept. 8, 1977, in Morgan County. Amiee was a sales clerk at the Lexi House Thrift Store. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Melson; and her companion, Brian Fortenberry.
Survivors include her son, Jaxon Fortenberry (Staudt); four daughters, Alexis Myers, Brianna Fortenberry (Staudt), Jessica Fortenberry (Staudt) and Alyssa Fortenberry (Staudt). Her survivors are Fred and Becky Ameri of Decatur; one brother, Jonathan Ameri of Decatur; and two sisters, Angela Magnuson and Jade Ameri, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Myers, Derrick Hood, Todd Holtzclaw, Jeremy Owens, David Currie, Wayne Polston.
