82, of 2440 Neely Store Rd., died Feb. 14, 1995, at his home. Funeral is 2 p.m. today at Friendship United Methodist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Paul Hutchison will officiate. Burial will be in Laurelwood Cemetery. Bass Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Cornwell, born in York County, was a son of the late William and Martha C. Cornwell. He was a general contractor and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Janet Jackson Cornwell; son, Jack Cornwell; brother, Fred Cornwell; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church new sanctuary fund or building fund, 1200 Neely Store Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
