Married Lucy Lee Bennett, the daughter Mr & Mrs Nathan Lee Bennett in 1903 and they made their home in the Pagosa Springs area until about 1940, then moved to Farmington, New Mexico where they made their home together until Harold left for heaven-side.
Harold died before October 1965. Along with his widowed-bride, Lucy, Harold left survivors including one son, Eirwin of San Leandro, California, five daughters, Elizabeth Egger of Dunsmuir, California, Dorothy Bruley of Vancouver, Washington, Mary Wilson of Walnut Creek, California, Virginia Decker of Pagosa Springs; Nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
