ADAIR, CONNIE W., 74, of 1026 Florida Ave., Palm Harbor, died Monday (Sept. 3, 1979). She came here in 1925 from her native Candor, N.C., and was co-owner/ operator of Adair Groceries, Palm Harbor since 1932. She was a member of Curlew United Methodist Church, Palm Harbor Woman's Club, Pinellas Democratic Club, past grand district instructor of the OES and served six terms as worthy matron of Palm Harbor Chapter 67 OES. Survivors include her husband, George Dewey; two sons, Harold, Ozona, and Ronald, Palm Harbor; a daughter, Georgia McGuire, Safety Harbor; two brothers, Everette Wooley, Ashboro [sic], N.C., and Cleo Wooley, Candor; a sister Belle McCaskill, Candor; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Moss Dunedin Chapel.
