Note: Mary Alice (Greene) Hainey was my grandmother. She was a beautiful woman in personality and appearance. She would light up any room she would walk into just by her mere presence. I have been so blessed that God gave me such a lovely grandmother.

Mary Alice Hainey 73, of Bloomington, Indiana, died Wednesday at Bloomington Hospital.
Born, Jan. 23,1917, in Monroe County,she was the daughter of Frank and Rosella (Stidd) Greene.
She was a retired test group leader for Thomson Consumer Electronics and was a member of Fairview Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
Survivors include her husband, Wendell Hainey;one son,Robert Hainey of Denison, Texas; one daughter; Betty May of Bloomington; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Martha Jackson; one brother Harry Greene and an infant brother.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Greene and Harrell Mortuary with Pastor Ruth Milgate Brochman officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes.
