CINDY BRINGHURST
Funeral services for Cindy Louise Bringhurst, 14, of 547 Franklin will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel.
Private funeral mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Roger LaChance officiating.
Cindy was born Aug. 21, 1968 at Pocatello to Larry and Nancy Ciancio Bringhurst.
In May she graduated from Alameda Junior High School where she had been active in the French Club. She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, dancing, music, swimming, basketball and football.
Survivors include her parents; a sister, Cherl; grandparents, Ruth Bringhurst, all of Pocatello; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ciancio, Lynn, Mass.; and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Christensen, Blackfoot.

HOMICIDE VICTIM
Bringhurst, 14, disappeared sometime between 11:45 p.m. on June 4, and 1:45 a.m. June 5, 1983 while babysitting at 154 Highland Blvd, Pocatello, ID. Her body was subsequently found partially submerged in a stream in the Mink Creek area west of Pocatello in July of 1983.

Still an unsolved cold case.
