Funeral services for Jacqueline J. "Jackie" Frost of Las Vegas, Nev., will be held at 8 p.m. today, at the Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin.
Born Aug. 22, 1936, in Chicago, the daughter of Francis and Bernice (nee Dassie) Becker, she passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, in Elgin. Burial will be in Boulder City, Nev.
For many years, Jackie worked as a commercial artist in the catalog department of the Jewel Tea Company in Barrington. During this time, while living in Lake Zurich, she met Frank "Sonny" Frost and they married on April 6, 1974. In 1992 they retired to Las Vegas, where Jackie became a member of the Las Vegas Sun City Art Club and the Sunshine Club. She was also a founding member of the Summerlin (Sun City) Hospital Volunteers and continued to volunteer until the time of her illness.
Surviving are her husband, Frank J. "Sonny" Frost of Las Vegas; son William E. Jr. (Mary Ann) Pichler of California; grandchildren, Mark, Sheri, Hannah and Elijah of California, and Danielle of Kentucky; brother Frank (Joy) Becker of Elgin; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son Mark Pichler; and brothers Robert and John Becker.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services today, at the funeral home.
