Mrs. Frances L., 71, of Del City, passed away Wed., April 22, 1998. She was born Oct. 4, 1926 in Hobart, OK to Percy and Ola Maye (Cogdill) Wilson.

Frances married Eddie Abbott on July 16, 1944 in Weatherford, OK. She had worked along with Eddie, beginning at Midwest City Municipal Golf Course, then at John Conrad Regional Golf Course where she was manager of concessions. Recently, she had returned to work at Midwest City Municipal Golf Course in the Pro Shop. Frances was a "people person" as evidenced by her many friends and co-workers.

She is survived by her husband, Eddie, of the home; two sons, Johnny Abbott and his wife, Lynn of OKC, Larry Abbott of Fayetteville, AR and Johnny Elkins and his wife, Linda MWC, who were like her children; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie and Julie Abbott, Brian and Matt Abbott; 1 brother, Dick Wilson of Seattle, WA.

Services will be 2:00 PMSat., April 25, 1998, at Bill Eisenhour S.E. Chapel.
