Savanna Nicole Scott, 9, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at her home in Princeton. Savanna was born September 18, 1999 in Evansville, Indiana. She was a student in Deb Tanner's 3rd grade class at Brumfield Elementary School in Princeton. Prior to her illness, she was involved in soccer, gymnastics and softball, but she was still a huge Princeton Tiger Fan.

Savanna is survived by her mother & step-father, Jennifer and Heath McKinley of Princeton; father and step-mother, J.D. & Kelly Scott of Hazleton; grandparents, Jerry and Barbara Scott of Princeton, Connie and Mike Sibbitt of Fort Branch, Bill and Brenda Davidson of Houston, Texas and Gary and Gayla Weaver of Charleston, SC; siblings, Danielle Scott, Joshua Easterly, Jerry Scott and Garrett Scott; 2 stepbrothers, Michael Hild and Taylor Urban; and her many pets including, 3 dogs, Libby, Isabel and Pedro and 2 cats, Smudge and Jackie.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday May 15, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Hillside United Methodist Church in Princeton, with Rev. Greg Davis and Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Visitation will be at Hillside United Methodist Church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling the arrangements. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery near Fort Branch.
