Wilma M. Atkinson, 93, of Oxford, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Green Hill Manor, Fowler.

She was born in Kirklin, Indiana to the late Laurin and Clara Brown Anderson. On Jan. 9, 1933, she married Joseph F. Atkinson in Lafayette, He died July 5, 2001.

Surviving are three sons, Joseph L. Atkinson (wife: Erna) of Lafayette, Richard E. Atkinson of Fowler and Robert W. Atkinson (wife: Dodie) of Oxford; a daughter, Carolyn Hudson (husband: William) of Boswell; a sister, Beatrice Hibbs of Williamsport; 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
