Memorial services for Mrs. Alta M. Gifford, 69, 935 SE 221st Ave., Gresham, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Bateman Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Gifford, who was born in Rudy, Idaho, was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latte-day Saints and was active in Relief Society and Primary programs.
She is survived by three sons, Darwen K., Santa Barbara, Calif., Warren K., Sumner, Wash., and LaVar K., Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Kinkaid, Gresham, and Mrs. Darlene Vetter, Hermiston; two brothers, Houghton Kite, Twin Falls, Idaho, and Golden Kite, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Vern Bennett, Magrath, Alberta, and Mrs. Annetta Collins, Oroville, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
