He was born Jan 1, 1883 in Larimer Township, a son of Richard and Ida Witt Mankamyer. He leaves his wife, the former Laura Murray, two sons, Roy M., Orlando, Fla.; the Rev. Raymond M., Berlin, R D 4; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Steinley, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Ralph Mazer, Lonaconing, Md.; two brothers, Richard, Fla.; the Rev. E. I. Mankamyer, Connellsville; one sister, Mrs. Charles Murray, Meyersdale; 29 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mankamyer was a life-long member of St. John's EUB Church. For 50 years he was a farmer in Larimer Township. Price Funeral Home. Service at St. John's Church.
Officiating will be the Rev. Earl Myers. Burial will follow in Temple Cemetery.
