Sidney G. Matlick, 83, of 3301 E. 1st St., Milan, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1996, at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in Rock Island Memorial Park.
Visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Friday. A memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Matlick was born Aug. 21, 1913, in Rutledge, Mo., the son of Glen and Adah Almina Douglas Matlick. He married Lucille Lingenfelter May 19, 1933, in Rutledge. She died Oct. 1, 1990.
He was employed as a driver at Farm Implement Manufacturing. He retired from International Harvester Farmall Works in 1977 after 33 years.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. A son, Dale Matlick, is deceased.
