Mrs. Effie Brenneman Aument, 76, of 142 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, died Friday morning at Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital, where she had been a patient eight days. She was the widow of Landis M. Aument. She was born in Safe Harbor, Manor Twp., the daughter of the late William and Mattie Mann Brenneman. She had lived in Lancaster 17 years. She was a member of the Highville United Methodist Church. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Ruth Lawrence, Narvon R1; C. Willard, at home; A. Russell, and Anna, wife of George R. Hess, both of Conestoga R1. Ten grandchildren survive. The following sisters survive: Mrs. Viola Sauder, Lancaster; Mrs. Florence Witmer, Conestoga R2; and Mrs. Cora Ament, Mount Joy. (Lancaster New Era - Dec 20, 1969)
