I. Louise Parent, the daughter of Roy Clinton and Martha Tilda (Shepherd) Clinton, was born March 30, 1940, in Baron, Oklahoma and passed away October 17, 2009, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 17 days. Louise worked as a record keeper for Peoples Bank and attended First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Martha Clinton and four siblings, Kenneth "Pete" Clinton, Dorothy Couch, Darryl Clinton and Wayne Clinton. She is survived by two sons, Matthew and Joy Dawn Smith, of Stilwell and Jason and Melissa Noble-Smith, of Kansas City, MO; four grandchildren, Carrie Smith, Andrew Smith and Bethany Smith, of Stilwell and Ella Smith, of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Naomi and Gerald Asbill, of Sallisaw, OK, Janice and Larry Cole, of Westville, OK. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Hart Memorial Chapel in Westville with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment will follow at Downing Cemetery under the direction of Hart Funeral Home of Westville.
