Funeral services for Jannie Sue
Barker, 49, Dexter, formerly of
Holcomb and Malden area, will be
Friday, April 5, 1991 at 10 a.m. at
the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter
with Rev. Clifford Wray officiating.
Burial will be in the
Lloyd Cemetery in Holcomb.
Mrs. Barker died April 1, 1991 at
the Dexter Memorial Hospital. She
was born Dec. 27, 1941 at Holcomb,
to Luther and Edith Dye
Bradshaw. She was employed by
the County wide Abstract Office in
Dexter, a member of the First General
Baptist Church, a member of
the Ladies Aid Society, Past President
of the Central and city Council
of the P.T.A. and a Den Mother
to a local Cub Scout Pack. On Dec.
25, 1964 she was married to Dale
E. Barker.
Survivors include her husband,
Dale E. Barker of Dexter; two sons
and one daughter-in-law, Ken and
Linda Barker of Okinawa, Jeff
Barker of Ft. Riley, Kan.; her
parents, Luther and Edith Bradshaw
of Holcomb; six brothers,
Vernell Bradshaw of Piggott, Ark.,
Glen Bradshaw of Aurora, Ill., Joe
Wayne Bradshaw of Berkeley,
David Bradshaw, Steve Bradshaw,
both of Holcomb, Phillip Bradshaw
Ellsinore; three sisters, Shelvagene
Miller of Malden, Katie Pounders
of rockford, Ill., Elaine George of
Kennett; and two granddaughters,
Angela Barker of Milwaukee, Wis.,
Andrea Barker of Okinawa. She
was preceded in death by one
daughter, Angela Jane Barker.
