Cassie D. Lovejoy, 73 years old, of Palermo, died at 11 a.m. Sunday in a Huntington hospital. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the residence by the Rev. Erskel Hall and the Rev. Roosevelt Linville. Burial followed in the Lovejoy Cemetery. The Koontz Funeral Home at Hamlin was in charge of arrangements. Surviving are the widow Mrs. Minnie Lovejoy; a son, Aaron Lovejoy of Palermo; two daughters, Mrs. Monteray Plumley of Ona and Mrs. Hazel Linville of Kermit; a brother, Norvil Lovejoy of Palermo; a sister Mrs. Maude Cummings of Sias, and 15 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
