ALICE L. PRENTISS
POLAND - Mrs. Alice L. Prentiss, 80, died June 25, 1941, in her home here after a long illness.
She was born in the Town of Norway, a daughter of Henry and Lydia Gilbert France. She was married to Edwin E. Prentiss, Vernon, who died in 1922. Mrs. Prentiss had lived here 16 years, She was a member of the Vernon Methodist Church.
Surviving are one son, Howard, at home, a half brother, Henry L. France, Brooklyn, and a granddaughter.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m Saturday from the home, with the Rev. Francis W. Glenister, pastor of the Community Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Vernon.
