Marie was my sister and she was 6 years older than me. She was born 27 Jul 1940 in Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana. She was the 11th child out of a total of 18. She attended the Eminence School System, Eminence, Morgan County, Indiana.

Sister Barbara relates that Marie was afraid of her own shadow. She was reserved and didn't like to have her picture taken. She started dating at age 14. She enjoyed double dating with Barbara and loved to go to car races and demolition events.

A physical description would relate that she was five feet six inches tall. Dark color hair, blue eyes and wore glasses.

Marie was a baptized Christian. She was baptized in a nearby river and attended church at Crown Center Christian Church, Crown Center, Morgan County, Indiana with her family. She was was baptized at a young age and enjoyed attending summer bible camp.

When I was barely 8 years old Marie gave her life for me, Kay Ward Seipp. She pushed me out the upstairs window, due to a house fire when I wouldn't jump on my own. She died on her birthday 27 July 1954.

Marie was loved & missed by her family. Her friends were many. k
