Viola was born March 1, 1921, in Hutchinson, Kansas the daughter of Herman B. and Pearl L. (Rumble) Jones. She died August 18, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
Viola was a homemaker. She lived in Junction City for many years before moving to Topeka several years ago with her husband Eugene "John" Manns. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church in Junction City, Sunflower Quilt Guild and the EHU.
She married George Anderson December 31, 1939; they later divorced. She married Eugene "John" Manns November 27, 1954. He passed away May 2, 2006.
Survivors included two daughters, Viola Anderson Dreyer and Donna Anderson McCain; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, and four brothers, Marvin Jones, Lawrence Jones, Bernard Jones and her twin brother Dwight Jones.
