Billy Ray Berry, 72, died at his New Hebron residence on December 22, 2002.

Mr. Berry was a retired welder. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and a veteran of the U. S. Army.

Funeral services were conducted December 24 from the chapel of Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at New Hebron.

He is survived by a daughter, Tammy Berry of New Hebron, and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Davis, his parents and a brother.
