June I. Fast, 84, Haviland, died at 9:25 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2009, at her residence.She was born June 1, 1925 in Latty, Ohio the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Moser) Gerber. On February 23, 1947 she married Charles H. Fast who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of the former Haviland Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was also a member of the Paulding Church of the Nazarene, the John Paulding Historical Society, was a 4-H club leader for many years and was an avid painter and sketcher. She is survived by her husband Charles, Haviland; a son Robert (Jan) Fast, Sanford, Florida; a daughter Barbara (Seth) Shelton, Shelby, North Carolina; her caregiver Cheryl (Ray) Pratt, Oakwood, Ohio; a granddaughter Angela Myers, Lewis Center, Ohio; a grandson Joshua (Heather) Shelton and a great grandson Brady Shelton both of Columbus, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Gerber and two sisters Julia Ann Fridenmaker and Esther Rae Gunderman. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding with Pastors Kim Semran and Joe Shouse officiating.
