Funeral Services Conducted At Zion
Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Wintermuth, 87, of 451 Wells ave., Peshtigo, WI were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7 at Zion Lutheran church in Peshtigo. Rev. Timothy Meier officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Paul Zoellner, Leonard Sielaff, Jay Buchner, Robert Harper, Roman Loranz, and Hilbert Seefeldt. The Ladies Aid attended as a group. Harper Funeral Home of Peshtigo was in charge of arrangements.
She died Monday morning, May 5 at Larson Memorial home in Peshtigo. The former Minnie Feske was born in the town of Grover on Feb. 1, 1899. She married Harvey Wintermuth on Aug. 25, 1926 in Peshtigo and the couple moved to Milwaukee where they resided until 1974 when they returned to Peshtigo. While residing in Milwaukee, Mrs. Wintermuth was self-employed as a caterer, retiring in 1967. Her husband died in June of 1977. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Peshtigo, Ladies Aid Society and Peshtigo Senior Citizens. Surviving are one brother, William of Waukesha; five sisters, Mrs. Amanda Sharpe, Mrs. Bertha Sielaff, Mrs. Margaret Kent and Mrs. Elroy (Flora) Brabender, all of Peshtigo and Mrs. Alfred (Laura) Boherer of Suring. Four sisters preceded her in death.
