Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. CDT Friday in South Park Cemetery in Roswell, N.M., with Elton Dilbeck officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mrs. Walker was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Plainview, N.M., to Lora and L.Z. Wiggins. She had been a resident of Amarillo for the last four years and had lived in San Benito for 23 years. She was a homemaker and loved to quilt. Mrs. Walker was a Church of Christ member.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Hayden Walker; a daughter-in-law, Eloise Walker; a sister; and a brother.
Survivors include a son, William Ray Walker of Amarillo; a sister, Rosemary O'Neal and husband Glen of Roswell; four granddaughters, Rose Marie Taber and husband Bobby of Amarillo, Kimberly Hogan and husband Patrick of Colorado Springs, Colo., Eunice Renee Mathes of Harlingen and Raye Ann Creech of Odessa; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road, Suite 12-A, Lubbock,�TX 79424.
