Jettie Dorthula Williams, 76, of Ozark, died Tuesday, March 16, 1993, at Mercy Hospital/Turner Memorial in Ozark. Born Feb. 24, 1917, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of Truman and Belle Nichols Cagle. Mrs. Williams was a member of Gar Creek Methodist Church, Coal Hill V.F.W. and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary at Altus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Davis, and was later married to Wallace Williams, who is also deceased. Also preceded her in death was a son, Jerry Davis, and a brother, J.W. Cagle. Survivors include two sons, Bill Davis and Eddie Williams. both of Ozark; four sisters, Lois Jones and Sula Walker, both of Ozark, Alma Molton of Jacksonville and Mary Askins of Paris; and 15 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carroll Squire officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery.
