Roy was the son of Perry Henderson Daniels and Minnie A. (Wright) Daniels, born at Swain, Newton Co., Arkansas. He married Lois Neal and to this union 10 children were born. However, he raised Lois' dau., Helen Brosher as his own too. The family left Newton County in the mid 1930's and went to Boone County, Harrison,Arkansas. Roy last worked as a carpenter, he enjoyed building furniture pieces for his children, making a large garden each year and spending time with his family.
