Daughter of G. Donald & Marcella (Shackelford) Adam.
Married to Donald H. Behm on 4-20-1952 at the Congregational Church at Ashby, NE.
She was a school teacher in the Alliance Public Schools, St. Agnes Academy, and the Hemingford and Lakeside areas for many years. She retired from substitute teaching 2 years ago. Lois loved art and through the years was a strong supporter of the Carnegie Art Society. She loved her church and was a faithful member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Alliance for over 50 years. She was also faithful about visiting people in the nursing homes and shut-ins.
Survived by her husband Donald of Alliance; her daughter, Janet (Dale) Rolofson of Greenwood, NE; her sons, Howard (Kathy) Behm of Overland Park, KS, and Mark (Sarita) Behm of Leander, TX. She is also survived by her brothers, Dwaine of Alliance, Wally of Alamogordo, NM, Bob of Alliance, John of Alliance, Ted of Rapid City, and Tom of Austin, TX; her sisters, Cindy Berndt of Lakeside, and Peggy Weber of Alliance; grandchildren, Naomi Lynn Rolofson, Lindsay Marie (Rolofson) Salazar, Brittney Dawn Rolofson, Joshua Martel Behm, Karie Elizabeth Behm, Caleb Charles Behm, Robert Elliott Behm, Anna May Behm, Joseph Donald Behm, Trevor Johnathan Rolofson, Iris Lorraine Behm, David Michael Behm, Michal Lee Behm and great-grandchild Logan Antonio Salazar.
Preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Julie Ann (Behm) Trask.
