ALVIN G LEHMANN, age 81, passed away October 20, 2009. A Lutheran by faith born in Lee County, Korean War Veteran, served in the armed forces from 1950 - 1956 with an honorable discharge. Moved to Houston, TX, professional carpenter by trade, retired in his late 60's. Survived by his former wife Linda Hay, sons Greg, Ron Lehmann and wife Cayla, grandsons Eric and Josh Lehmann, sister Laura Wernecke and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by son Randy Lehmann, parents Emma and Emil Lehmann, brothers Richard, Alfred and Henry Lehmann; sisters Erna Mersiovsky and Ella Marburger. A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 1:00pm at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77079. Phone 281-497-2210.
