Mrs. Goodale moved to Aiken in 1997 from Winston-Salem, NC. She was a Registered Nurse at City Memorial Hospital and received her training at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. She retired from Forsyth Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Everett Goodale; son, Michael Everett Goodale, in 2003, and her parents, Walter Lee Nifong & Mary Marshall Nifong.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Patricia M. Goodale; granddaughter, Karen Goodale Carter and her husband Chris, and great-granddaughter, Abigail Lynn Carter.
Interment followed funeral services conducted Sunday, January 13, 2008.
