Mary Catterall

Mary A. Catterall, 79, died Feb. 19, at her Sheridan residence.
She was born March 8, 1915, in Monarch to Michael and Anna Novara.
She grew up in the Sheridan area and graduated from Sheridan high School. She attended Heiman Business College in Sheridan after high school.
She married Wilfred Catterall on Aug. 9, 1941, in Sheridan. He preceded her in death in 1955.
She worked for Transamerican Financial Corporation in Sheridan from 1956 to 1977. She enjoyed her grandchildren, reading and gardening. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Stanley, John, Joe and Frank Novara.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Jacobson of Sheridan; a sister, Stella Novara of Hollywood, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Vigil services will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Ferries Funeral Home, with Joseph Kristufek officiating. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ferries Funeral Home, with the Rev. Thomas Kadera officiating.
Dale and Cynthia Jacobson owned the plot according to cemetery records.
