HARRY D. VAN NEMAN DEAD
Harry D. Van Neman, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Van Neman, of this city, died last night at Coffeyville, Kan., of diabetes after a lingering illness of two years. Of late he has failed quite rapidly and his mother and brother, Gilbert, were summoned to his bedside last Friday by telegraph.
The remains will be brought to Carthage on tonight's train and will be taken to his parents' home on Highland Avenue, from which place the funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. A. Oldham, of the Christian church. The interment will be in Park Cemetery.
The deceased was 33 years of age and was raised in Carthage, having removed here with his parents when he was three years of age and remaining here until about six years ago, when went to New Mexico. He railroaded in that territory until about a year and a half ago, since when he has been running a cooper shop at Coffeyville.
He leaves a wife and one child, both of whom were with him when he passed away and who will accompany the remains here.

The remains of Harry D. Van Neman, who died Sunday night at Coffeyville, Kans., arrived last evening on the 8:10 Frisco, accompanied by his mother, brothers, wife and little child, and were taken to his parents' home on Highland Avenue.
The funeral occurred at 2:30 this afternoon from the house and was conducted by Rev. W. A. Oldham of the Christian Church.
The pallbearers were John A. and Jos. M. McMillan, Chas. Shipps, Steve Head, Bate Smith and John Milnes. The remains were interred in Park Cemetery.
