Suggested Edit: Miss. Sallie Ella Allebaugh, died at her home near Lacey Spring yesterday morning after an illness of nearly four months.
She was born September 17, 1874, being the youngest daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Allebaugh.
Miss. Allebaugh was a faithful member of the Lacey Spring United Brethren Church and was a number of years the teachers of the Bible Class and of the Boys Class.
She was a graduate of Shenandoah Collegiate Institute, now Shenandoah College, and had spent her entire life in the community in which she was born.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. S.Y. Bowman, at home, and three brothers, M.A. Allebaugh, of Harrisonburg, and S.R. and C.H. Allebaugh of Lacey Spring.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. from her late residence and will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. W.L. Childress. Interment will be in the Lacey Spring Cemetery.
