Andrew (Andy) Edward Albright, 87, of Tallahassee passed away October 27, 2008, at Capitol Health Care in Tallahassee. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. EST, November 5, 2008, at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road in Tallahassee. Mr. Albright moved to Tallahassee in 1970 after spending 25 years in the U.S. Navy and five years in the fleet reserve. He received many awards in Nuclear Medicine. After moving to Tallahassee he went to work for Tallahassee Memorial Hospital where he was instrumental in starting the Nuclear Medicine Department. He retired as the director of Nuclear medicine at Tallahassee Memorial. Mr. Albright was a graduate of Indiana University and American University. He was a member of Killearn Country Club and T.M.H. Retiree Club. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite. Mr. Albright was predeceased by a son, Dwain; a brother, Bob; and a sister, Betty. Survivors inlcude his wife, Frances, and a son, Ronald, of Fayetteville, Ga.
