Odilia "Lala" Z. Hetrick, age 54, of Monclova, Ohio, died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Flower Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Oregon, Ohio, on May 6,1955 to Oscar and Petra (Zapata) Garza. On April 21, 2001, she married Calvin "Cal" Hetrick who she called the love of her life. Odilia was currently employed for the past seven years by McVicker Insurance Company as a Customer Service Representative and was formerly employed by Allstate Insurance Company for over 25 years where she worked as a Claims Representative. She attended St. Joseph's Church in Maumee and in her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, working around the house and was known as a voracious reader. Odilia will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, Calvin "Cal" K. Hetrick; beloved daughter, Ashlee M. Ducat; brothers, Oscar (Sue) Garza and Orlando (Kathy) Garza; sister, Olga (Dwight) Fisher-Whitt; 3 nieces, 1 nephew, as well as 8 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Petra, as well as her brothers, Ruben Rodriguez and Osvaldo Garza. Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, from 5-7:30 p.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland, where services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
