Funeral services for Mr. Kody Otto Watson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Zion Hill Family Church, Pineville, with Reverends Dr. Mike Fluitt and Bobby Rhodes officiating. Interment will be at Cleveland Cemetery, Lena, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Watson, age 12, was born on November 19, 1996 and entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Rapides Medical Center, Alexandria.

Mr. Watson, a resident of Pineville, was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He was a sixth grader at Paradise Elementary School. He loved playing football with his friends.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilene Watson and Wallace Stewart.

He is survived by his father, Billy Watson (Michelle) of Pineville, his mother, Valerie Stewart of Roswell, New Mexico, grandparents, paternal, Otto Watson (Carol Jester) of Pineville, maternal, Malinda Danforth, Portales, New Mexico, two brothers, Brandon Watson of Pineville, Andrew Davis of Idaho, three sisters, Nicole Watson of Pineville, Anna Cannon of Ball, Brittney Walker of Tioga, six step-siblings, Lynsey Barr (Derrick) of Vidalia, Joseph Dupree of Pineville, Travis Dupree of Urania, Anna Dupree of Urania, Rebekah Dupree of Urania, Angel Dupree of Urania, three uncles, Madison Stewart, Tom Stewart, Cameron Stewart, three aunts, Joyce Helt, Patti Jackson, Cindy Sargent, and very special best friend, Christian Kretzinger.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Watson, Joseph Dupree, Devin Alexander, Christian Kretzinger, Brad Hodges, and Jeffery Hale.

Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and at Zion Hill Family Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
