She married John Astor Maltsberger and they lived at 1264 Norman Road in Colton. She was born in Eskridge, Kansas of June 21,1904 and married John Maltsberger in 1931. She taught school in Riverside and was very involved in the Colton's Women's Club where she lived for 58 years. She was the author of the book, "This is Colton" and survived by a brother, Ralph Thursby in Washington and two sisters.
